You may have noticed if you are a user of Google Base that the search box has now disappeared from base.google.com.
The new appearance of the page can be confusing as many links are now not what they were.
When clicking the "Housing" Link, you are now taken to Google Maps, this removes search parameters that once were available. For now at least you can use this link to retrieve the old search page: http://base.google.com/base/html?a_n0=housing&a_y0=9&hl=en&gl=us
As I write this "JOBS" , "EVENTS & ACTIVITIES" and "VEHICLES" remains the same as always. The other links that were present on the home page before this change can be found below.
You may see that the trend within the links is to replace the word following "no=" with the service you are looking for, if you type any word here, you will find that it replaces the search box with that word. Not valuable, but a little snippet of pointless info that I didn't expect to find.
