Google Base is a free to use service, they take no percentage of your final sale value, it is simply a method of displaying your item. In order to sell your items you must have an online purchasing method. If you are supplying a data feed then you will be required to have a e-commerce enabled site in which users can complete their purchase. If you are using the single post method you will require to use Google checkout as your purchasing method (fees will be payable here).
