Firstly, Happy New Year!
It’s a new year and I decided it was time for a change. I have re-designed my blog to not only up-date its appearance, but to also make it more “user friendly” I have included links to the new Google Base Forum, as well as a link to the old Google Base Discussion Group.
I am still available for hire or to answer the odd question, however, as many questions are commonly asked, it may be beneficial to check out these two links rather than wait for a reply.
If you don’t find your answer here obviously my inbox is always open. ;)
You will also find links to helpful Google Base Terms of Services, The Google Base Official Blog, where you can find out what is happening in the world of Google and other useful resources.
The new design also sees the addition of a “Featured Blog” post, this may not always be the newest post, but it will be changed frequently to highlight what I deem the most relevant or important post for readers. “Service” and “Terms and Conditions” pages have been added for my customers old and new, If you are looking for help or are unsure what I offer, check them out for more information. It is a working progress and new features will be added but I would love your feedback on what other features or ideas you think would be beneficial to include.
What does 2009 hold for TomTheDeveloper?
I am currently working on a new version of my Stats Tool, making improvements to my Competitor Analysis Tool and have implemented many changes that have been suggested and as the tool is improving I am seeing increase in users and traffic, so please keep your suggestions coming. I am also working on a few new projects, including a competitor tracker, which I will be looking for BETA testers for, so if you are interested, please subscribe to my blog and you will be the first to know when they are ready to hit the BETA shelf.
Over the festive period I have been very busy and I hope you all were too. As the new year brings a calm to the hectic month of December, I find it a perfect time to reflect on what could have made Christmas an easier time for you and your company. It is then time to put this into action so as Christmas 2009 runs smoother. If you were one of those, who only discovered Google Base too late to reap its benefits this Christmas, don’t make the mistake of leaving it till next November to try again. Establish yourself in the Google Base Community now, get yourself a fully optimised feed, customer reviews and see results not only in December but all through the year.
Google Base is fast becoming one of the biggest Shopping Comparison Search Engines around, so if you own a shop or sell online, this is where you need to be!
